I was watching Parkour and Free Running videos for animation reference and I asked "How does someone decide they want to jump off tall buildings?" and she said "Maybe like shoving baby birds out of a nest"
And so this comic was born.
San-Diu isn't really that insensitive... in reality/canon, he probably wrapped Kar-Yue up in so much pillows and safety equipment that Kar-Yue had to remind him that one can't free run as a marshmallow.
San-Diu is a really over-protective parent. But I think I would be too if Templars were out to kill me and steal the information in my brain and I had kids (I think I'm going to donate my eggs for money when I'm old enough... then people who want kids can have them since they're obviously wasted with me).
...the only major difference between young Kar-Yue and old Kar-Yue is her pink hair clips...
For some reason, I call my dad "deddy" instead of "daddy" and my characters do that also.
Swimming lessons. There's this kiddie swimming lesson place where the teacher just purposely shoves little (preschool or earlier little) kids heads in water to make them get over fear of water. I went there when I was little @_@ I don't entirely remember the episode... but I've been a coward all my life. My parents sent me to preschool one year late because I just bawled non-stop the first time they tried to bring me.

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
