Of course, WWII was the next thing to jump into my head!
But according to my Google-fu, there's no such thing as a cheap WWII costume... Because no one seems to do WWII for Halloween and that means it's reenactor quality is all that's left. Which is nice, but expensive. And like... nice fabric... I generally prefer cheap fabric because thin fabric is more comfortable. >_> I suck at dealing with even vaguely hot temperatures.
And searching Halloween costumes with a military theme make me want to rage because all the ones specifically for females are FUCKING MINISKIRTS.
My family isn't really into military service so hunting in the attic doesn't help. ...if I had an attic anyway...
Then again, it would just be a certain jacket and pants and I'd probably wear my riding boots. I wear these boots for nearly every cosplay now that I think about it. I wore them as Altair, D'Eon de Beaumont, Marluxia, and Siegfried... The boots serve me well!
I wonder if my mother will complain if I ask her to sew it.
She'll probably yell at me for not just going with the era of the military WITH camo.
Considering that I wear absurd amounts of camo on a normal basis anyway...

" I'm NOT a NINJA! Someone strike you dead if you call me that again! For f*ck's sake, I am an AGENT! Get that through your thick skull!"
Makes me think of my suicidal plan to create and authentic Ezio costume XD XD

>_> Ezio's costume seems a lot more flashy... a lot more work.

The best way to deal with a world gone mad is to think up something more absurd.
