I HATE YOU TECHNOLOGY!

Fri Jun 26, 2009, 11:53 AM
Okay, now that my computer had its time to have a little tantrum, now it's my printer.

My HP Deskjet F4180 is convinced it only has 4x6 paper and shrinks everything to those proportions. Even Word Documents.

And that's assuming it actually finishes... usually it prints and inch and then stops and never goes anywhere.

I can't figure out why the hell it does this. It prints like this from every program and I tried reinstalling the drivers.

I've been pondering going to the Cartoon Network portfolio review during Anime Expo, but it occurs to me that I haven't watched a single Cartoon Network show in a while. The only recent one I liked was Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.

And I have no idea what Cartoon Network is on a quest for, considering that they now run an absurd amount of live-action now.

:-/ I guess I'll just throw everything and the kitchen sink.

Wait. CARTOON Network is running LIVE ACTION shows now? Does anyone else see that our television as we know it is being destroyed by this digital transition ****?

I think it's just being cheap bastards. The new live-action show The Othersiders is like a bunch of stupid kids looking for ghosts. Retard kids scare themselves shitless for cheap + shaky cam which means the guy behind the camera can be stupid too. =_= but... it would probably make more sense to make a half decent show even if it does cost more...

The best way to deal with a world gone mad is to think up something more absurd.
:icontheaceofskulls:
Does this mean we're supposed to believe that kids are now able to access places that those idiots at SciFi ghost hunting have to work 5 seasons to get into alongside living a normal nonchild actor lives?!

My printer/scanner is almost as bad, when I try to scan something with my Canon MP240 and save it to my computer, it just scans it then reprints it. FRUSTRATING!!!

This is my signature... see? I have one right here. O_O ...okay you can stop staring now. CLICKY!!! >.< ---> [link] <---

Ain't technology wonderful?
I can totally sympathize, my scanner has been giving me trouble. Every time I try to scan something it tells me there isn't enough memory even though I know damn well there is. I just want to take a sledgehammer to it. :fork: Hope you figure out what's wrong with yours.

I haven't watched Cartoon Network in a really long time. They're playing live action shows/movies?!?! WTF!!!! :wtf:

Cartoon Network is a shell of its former self, no doubt of that. Nickelodeon's no different. I liked Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends on CN because it had a really clever sense of humor, but now that show is gone, too.

I stopped watching the cartoon channels the moment Camp Lazlo arrived on the scene. God, that show is crap @_@;
But at least there's no live-action stuff on CN here, yet. New Zealand is so far behind that by the time movies come out here, everyone else has already seen them X3
