I just noticed I now have 701 devwatchers... Wow!

I watched The Hurt Locker today. Probably the only movie about Iraq I've watched so far.

It's pretty good. They don't beat you on the head with the point. It's not an incredible downer... well, there are depressing bits of course. It's kind of hard to have war without depressing bits.

Well, I liked the characters.

I dunno how to explain it. The film just works.

ok, important question for the poems (yes, I'm making two!) I need a short bio for both Epifanio and Kanoa. It'll help me to make the poems match their personalities a bit better.

Epifanio is a self-centered jerk who puts himself in front of everyone else and can't be bothered to even slightly bend over backwards for others. Having been sick for his entire life, he's more than a little convinced that the world is out to get him. He is kind of lonely, but at the same time he is kind of scared of trusting people too much and thanks to having vampiric powers, he can react very badly when he feels betrayed.

Kanoa is laid back. He likes growing flowers and karaoke (unfortunately, he can't actually sing). He is the sort of person who is too nice for his own good and usually wants to be helpful even if it takes a large chunk out of his day. But his friendliness ends at revealing his secret fertilizer formula. Kanoa is very secretive about how he grows his rarest flowers to a point where his greenhouse has an absurd amount of locks on the door despite the fact you can break in with a well-thrown brick.

Just wondering, how do you go about selling your art? Do you have to make a contract with the person to make sure they pay up? Or is it just a private transaction and you trust each other, so they send you the money first and you do their piece of art?
